Three Extraordinary and Terribly Beautiful Vacation Places To Go and Stay

by Ian Smith

You can find many incredibly beautiful vacation places in the world, but maybe here are three you have not thought about before.

The Kingdom of Bhutan deep in the Himalayas is a landlocked refuge situated between India and China, and it's frequently described as the last place you'll find traditional Himalayan Buddhist culture. It is one of the most inaccessible and uncommercialised countries in the world. The world that we live in today has left Bhutan largely the way it was a hundred years ago. You will definitely fall madly in love with the sheer beauty of Bhutan, the lack of pollution, be it modern rubbish, or the noise of loud blaring music.

The scenery and buildings will will amaze you, and you'll find the local people very welcoming and extremely friendly. Uma Paro offers exceptional style. Everything is geared to comfort in an understated way, and the location takes you right into the local culture. The scenery is dramatic with pine-clad valleys and snow-tipped mountains. Bhutan is Buddhist, keeping respect for religious tradition. You are able to get into this world with the inland treks, thorough tours and excursions led by guides from the hotel.

Lord Howe Island is widely thought of as the prettiest island in the Pacific less than two hours flying time from the eastern coast of Australia. The planet's most southerly coral reef surrounds the lagoon, and there are teeming multitudes of exotic fish yards off the beach, and not much further out there are top class diving sites. It is a good place for families The wonderful sandy beaches are spotless and empty, and there's so much for kids to do and enjoy in perfect safety. There's several good restaurants to enjoy, luxury accommodations, like Capella Lodge, and for the romantic couples, masses of places to be alone. Lord Howe island is unlike some Pacific Island destinations in that it's fantastically clean and well tended.

Siwa Oasis is a massive famous Sahara oasis in the north west corner of Egypt, where one of the top eco-hotels in Egypt is situated, and the Adrere Amellal is maybe one of the finest and most sumptuous eco hotels in the world. Siwa and the Adrere Amellal are unique, and extremely quickly you'll lose stress, slow down to a pace of life where time is measured in fifteen minute chunks, and not seconds. Where you will accept that sand just gets into everything, but you can view a virtually forgotten world, and yet return to the civilized brilliantly well staffed hotel, and sip a cool drink on your verandah, before the stars come up and the candles are lit. Every single room has a view of Siwa Lake and the Great Sand Sea with oil lamps and candles for lighting. In winter coal braziers supply the heat as the nighttimes can be very cold in the desert. The pool is supplied by an ancient Roman spring, and the Adrere Amellal is totally electricity free, so not only is nightime really romantic with masses of candles against a backdrop of the awesome desert sky, but there aren't any mobile phones, television or trappings of the 21st Century. The food is just superb, and organic dining is a very different experience. Adrere Amellal is totally all inclusive, it does not actually have a reception, nor room keys!! It is truly a wonderful place, close to many sights of Siwa, Cleopatra's bath, the Church of the Oracle Ammun, and the Great Sand Sea. All these activities and more are included in the all in price.
