Coco Point Lodge on Barbuda is a secret place known only to very few. There will never be more than 68 guests on this 164 acre property, but you should realise this heaven hasn't got telephones or TVs in the rooms, so no interference to you peace and tranquility in any way. Secondly Coco Point is privately owned and managed, and that always makes a superb difference, so there are tons of tiny touches, obvious hands on personal care, and that is what makes it such a remarkable place.

Paradise would not be too powerful a word here, and the quantity of returning guests bears witness to that, and not only couples, but children too , because there is lots to keep them busy too. The Coco Point Lodge is all inclusive, and you could have shied away from all inclusive deals before, but this is very different, and totally non commercialized. The nicest thing of all is that you not only throw your worries away here, you can discard your wallet, and your credit cards!!

The food is absolutely wonderful, with 3 full meals every day, there is a small kitchen in your bungalow, and the fridge/bar contains real quality brands. Things to anticipate are the the desserts, the beach, and the sort of folks you will get to know, because they similar to yourself are drawn to the same type of holiday.

The Beach Club Hamilton Island is on the beach, this exclusive boutique resort is the one place to stay on Hamilton Island. It's an infant and child free resort with about 50 rooms. The rooms all have massive private balconies or courtyards and face straight onto the totally gorgeous privately owned beach, and a sea which is really extraordinarily calm and warm and every shade of blue you can think of. If you like easygoing undressed sophistication then the Beach Club will be right for you. The staff are discreet, effectiveand very unobtrusive, and will really be at your beck and call

Hamilton Island is open to everybody, but the Beach Club is absolutely closed to the public There are some great excursions from The Beach Club, for example a Sea plane over the Great Barrier Reef, and a stop off at Whitehaven beach, a Copter trip, snorkelling, and BBQ safari. The Beach Club is the only place to stay on Hamilton Island

Ultimately we're going to the relatively unspoilt beaches of Cambodia to the Sokha Beach Resort. Sitting in over 15 acres and a mile of beachfront of the best white sand beach in Sihanoukville The Sokha Beach Resort was voted amongst the best new hotels in the world in 2005.

There are 166 rooms with massive bathrooms and separate showers and lots of fluffy towels. The pool is gigantic, and there are loads of sunbeds, both there and on the beach, with attentive staff who look after you extremely well. The beach is pristine , with finer and whiter sand than Phuket. Everything is flawless in and around the resort.

The Spa is lovely and by Western standards the price is very reasonable. It has a huge Jacuzzi and up to date steam room which is complimentary to all the guests. You'll certainly enjoy the breakfasts in the air conditioned restaurant with nice touches like an omelette cook, and a noodle chef. There is a really good seafood buffet, and the Lemongrass restaurant on the beach is very good with the most superb setting and great views.
